Gordon Vanderpool has been polishing his fly fishing skills on the fertile streams of Pennsylvania, Maryland, and West Virginia since he was a teenager.  

Once a big bass junkie, although be it with a spinning rod,  Gordon picked up fly fishing and realized you could target the same fish on the fly. The spinning gear went to the closet and remains there today!

Gordon has fly fished all over the world, from the tributaries of the Great Lakes to the eastern slopes of the Sierra Nevadas to Belize in Central America!  He is now a full-time guide and the owner of Turning Stones Fly Fishing. 

When Gordon is not out with his clients you can rest assure he is chasing something on the fly!
