Teammate David Woody, fishing with Team TroutLegend cooperative partner Mark Hanes, recently took 4th place in the North Fork Invitational.
Held June 4th and 5th at Harman’s Cabins in Cabins, WV, the North Fork Invitational featured teams from across the country. The event was filmed by Curtis Fleming’s Fly Rod Chronicles for broadcast at a later date.
Going into the final round of the two day competition, Woody and Hanes were a mere 30 cm from 1st place. A large rainbow lost in the final few minutes of the session could have sealed the deal!
In the spirit of the TroutLegend Competitive Cooperative, teams Stonefly and TroutLegend selected Woody and Hanes as representatives of the cooperative’s mission: to develop and nuture partnerships in the advocacy of competitive fly fishing in North America.
Both Woody and Hanes enjoyed fishing together and look forward to future collaborative partnerships.
